We are looking for a hard-working laborer to fill a seasonal Groundskeeper position.
The work is performed on a private estate and is part of existing Grounds Crew.
Legal resident status, a high school diploma, transportation, and a valid Washington state driver’s license.
Experience in landscape maintenance is preferred. This job demands physical fitness and will require heavy lifting, work on ladders, severe weather tolerance and often repetitive work such as digging, shoveling, and mulching.
This work consists of lawn, plantbed, pond, and hardscape maintenance.
Tasks may include mowing, edging, blowing, weeding, mulching, raking, pond cleaning, power washing, debris pickup and hauling, equipment and lunchroom cleaning, turf renovation, irrigation repair, gutter work, tree pruning, and planting. The work involves the use of power tools such as mowers, weed eaters, chain saws, power hedge trimmers, utility vehicles, power vacuums, and pressure washers.
Assimilating on-the-job training is expected as is co-operation with others and the ability to work well under pressure.
The Groundskeeper may be asked to assist the Owner in work unrelated to groundskeeping.
Hours & Pay: 7:00 am-3:30 pm M-F; (maximum 6 months). $14-15 hr
