We are hoping to hire someone committed to becoming an ISA certified arborist and advancing in the field, we plan on expanding our company and will need people to take over as crew leads and lead climbers eventually. Experience with chainsaws is a plus but not required. What is required is an enthusiasm to learn with a focus on safety and quality work. This can be a very physically demanding job and strength and endurance are valuable assets for a tree worker. This job has many hazards and we promote a safe sober environment and provide all necessary PPE including hard had, eye protection, gloves, ect. We are a positive group of people and really love our jobs and have fun in the process, but we are serious when needed, and special care must always be taken when tree parts are falling from above. Training on proper pruning, climbing, knots, use of equipment, and preparing for and passing ISA exam come with day to day work.
Compensation starts at $15 an hour and goes up as skills and speed/efficiency increases
