Creative and articulate freelance residential cad landscape designer wanted.

Experience in residential design/build is a must for this position. Successful candidate is able to receive address information and prepare a timely and accurate basemap, adding design elements under direction of landscape architect. (See our website pdf for a plan example).

This is a position for portfolio carrying, experienced design/build candidates only. Autocad skills and abilities in Excel are REQUIRED. NO NON-LANDSCAPE DESIGNERS PLEASE. A RESIDENTIAL LANDSCAPE PORTFOLIO IS REQUIRED.

Successful candidate is paid a percentage of design fee, averaging $400-$1000+ per plan. Freelancer will work open hours from home and by email with a weekly design meeting in Redmond to review progress on plans to be completed. Looking for a candidate able to work with landscape construction and maintenance
teams who work on a variety of interesting projects. Prefer at least 1 year landscaping experience with knowledge of various materials and tools. Must be reliable, possess the ability to take initiative, work alone or as a team.  Must be able to lift 60 lbs and be able to work in all weather conditions. Horticultural (and organics) education or knowledge
preferred, but not required.  Must have a valid WSDL and clean driving record. And most importantly must have an excellent attitude!
